Arthur Sheyn

Following the footsteps of his father, Arthur started dancing at 4 years old and became a proud member of Genesis at 10. He quickly rose to become a top ranking national competitor, representing Genesis in every competition final.

He loves dancing because it is a great way to stay in shape and build relationship skills through working with a partner. He hopes to inspire the younger dancers at Genesis to work toward a successful dancing career as he has had. When competing, Arthur’s main goal is to get the most noise and excitement out of the audience, a true crowd pleaser.

As a coach, Arthur takes the many different styles he has been trained in and tries to mold his teaching style to each individual student’s style. He currently attends UC Berkeley, where he has recently been accepted into the esteemed Haas Business School. He is also currently the Coach for the UC Berkeley Ballroom Dance Team. He hopes to use his business education to help Genesis expand and continue to be at the forefront of the major US dance studios. He hopes to provide an opportunity for future generations to grow as dancers and individuals at Genesis as he did.
