I had my first private lesson with Edyta today. It was fantastic. I learned more in 45 minutes with Edyta than I have in months of training with other instructors. If only she taught in San Diego.

"It takes motivation, determination, and time allocation to succeed in what you do. In my early teens, when my mother first took me to Genesis DanceSport Academy, I stared in awe as young dancers performed with a style, grace, and maturity beyond their years. The exceptional teaching Genesis provided along with the unique and inspirational community it harbored, soon molded me into a confident, poised, and mature young adult. My motivation was to emulate the finesse and composure of the Genesis teachers, and my determination to achieve the Championship level was encouraged by the competitive atmosphere of my contemporaries. I learned to manage time efficiently, balancing school with dance and my other extracurricular activities, so that I could maximize the time I spent training.
My experiences at Genesis eventually made their way into my High School memoirs, my college application, and even onto my Medical School application. Today I maintain my medical school's dance club, Dancing with the Docs, immortalizing the knowledge and concepts of my teachers at Genesis. I'm incredibly grateful not for the steps I learned at Genesis, but for the values and grace that my teachers instilled in me."
