Yuriy Timen
Yuriy was first introduced to competitive dancing through the Genesis DanceSport Academy when he was just 11 years old.  Today Yuriy is one of the most sought after dance instructors Genesis DanceSport has to offer, known for his commitment to the art form and the studio, teaching versatility and desire to diffuse dancing to the masses. Yuriy instructs students of all different age groups and levels of experience, but his passion lies with training and mentoring young competitors.

Alec Mazo
Alec is a professional ballroom dancer based in San Francisco. He became known for his participation in the American edition of the reality television series Dancing with the Stars, the first season of which he won with partner Kelly Monaco.

Natalia Mazo
Natalia Mazo is the founder of Genesis DanceSport Center. She started the school in 1994 with one group of kids and grew the center to include US represenatives to World Championships in most years since 1996. Natalia has extensive experience in teaching kids and teenagers. She has been recognized by the local government (Mayor Newsom and previously Mayor Brown) as a superb instructor and director of kids and teen dance programs. Natalia has been involved in dance for the last 25 years and has vast knowledge based on european dance education.

Edyta is a professional ballroom dancer. She is best known for her appearances on the American version of the reality television series Dancing with the Stars. Edyta is the only professional dancer to appear on all eight seasons of the American series.

Genya Mazo
Genya has traveled the world competing in various international ballroom championships and has trained with some of the most highly regarded coaches in the world dance circuit. He has won a number of the most prestigious titles in competitive dancing, including the titles of US National Champion, World Rising Star Champion, and International Latin Champion. Genya danced competitively for 23 years. Genya recently competed for a Pro-Dancer spot on Dancing with the Stars.

Arthur Sheyn
As a coach, Arthur takes the many different styles he has been trained in and tries to mold his teaching style to each individual student’s style. He currently attends UC Berkeley, where he has recently been accepted into the esteemed Haas Business School. He is also currently the Coach for the UC Berkeley Ballroom Dance Team. He hopes to use his business education to help Genesis expand and continue to be at the forefront of the major US dance studios. He hopes to provide an opportunity for future generations to grow as dancers and individuals at Genesis as he did.

Irina Senchilina
During 2000-2001 worked as an instructor and choreographer assistant and since 2002 as a full-time instructor at DanceSport School “Oniona” Kaliningrad, Russia. September of 2002 until May of 2004 worked as a teacher of ballroom dancing at the Children School of Art, Municipal Educational Establishment of Kaliningrad region, Russia. In 2002 received the title of Candidate of Master of Sport and attained the Adjudicator’s License through the Russian DanceSport Federation.

I represented one of the biggest clubs in Moscow TRIADA in local and international competitions which were russian open championships, Blackpool open championships(england), Assen open championships (holland), finland open championships, Alassyo open championships(italy) and other popular and famous dancing events in the world.
